Responsibilities:

Deliver high quality classes and courses
Comply with quality standards and processes
Ensure that all TLG policies are adhered to and that any necessary training is undertaken (paid)
Attend weekly staff meetings and regular CPD sessions (paid)

Competencies:

Good classroom management skills
Good linguistic awareness
Ability to teach General English all levels
Experience of EAP, Pre-sessional and IELTS desirable
Excellent and relevant subject knowledge, communicative teaching methodologies and CEFR
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Clear understanding of cross-cultural issues that may affect classroom interaction.
Experience of teaching Middle eastern students desirable

Cambridge DELTA

Requirements :
CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL (Essential)
A degree (Essential)
Right to work in the UK (Essential)
At least 1 year of teaching experience (Desirable)
DELTA or Trinity Dip TESOL (or working towards) (Desirable)
Relevant MA (Desirable)
EAP or Pre-sessional or IELTS experience (Desirable)

Pay rate:
CELTA-qualified teachers: £18 + holiday pay (12.09%).
DELTA-qualified teachers: £22 + holiday pay (12.09%).

Paid meetings and CPD sessions at admin rate (£12 an hour + holiday pay).

Zero-hour contracts available for cover teaching, as well as more permanent work, dependent on experience and competence. Please also state your preference for Birmingham or Nottingham. Please note these classes are face to face unless government restrictions apply. We are looking for immediate start. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
