Details of Position

We are a medium-sized, friendly and professional language centre in western Greece which seeks to provide quality education. We are well established, offering lessons to the local community for 30 years. Our students are mainly children aged approximately 6-18 years old, but we also have some adult students. Our learners range from beginner to C2 level. We are a Cambridge and NOCN Examination preparation centre. The school is well equipped with all modern facilities, including textbooks, games and interactive whiteboards. All necessary stationery and teaching equipment is provided.

Annual school trips and activities are arranged, offering opportunities for travel all around Greece and a chance to learn about and experience Greek traditions. Our students also participate in an environmental and cultural club. There is a warm, genuine and supportive atmosphere where you will find authentic Greek hospitality. We are 35 minutes' drive from the coast and there are regularly scheduled buses to a network of nearby towns, villages and cities.

Qualifications

Cambridge CELTA

Degree (any subject)
CELTA, TEFL or teaching degree
Native speaker level preferred
Good knowledge of computers desirable

Salary and Benefits

Job Summary

Teacher wanted to teach all levels and ages, including exam preparation classes, with a particular focus on the oral and written sections. Most teaching will be conducted face-to-face, but the teacher should also have the ability to teach lessons online (Zoom). Hours are full-time (30 hours per week) from October to June.
