Job Summary

Details of Position

As an innovator in the ELT jobs' market for over 20 years, TEFL.com is enhancing its editorial content team to bring to our readership the best career content available. We are looking to engage freelance career writers worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for creative content contributors to have their original work exposed to an international audience on one of the world's premier English Language Teaching career platforms.

We envisage that the successful writers will currently be employed overseas in a teaching or ELT management role and will have several years' teaching experience abroad. Articles will strike a balance between both personal teaching experiences and insights on factual ELT career progression.

This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring writers who can 'think out of the box' and provide our readership with insightful and inspiring career content. Our successful contributors will be expected to submit ideas for articles to our content editor prior to writing. Please be aware that this is NOT a teaching position.

Only original articles will be accepted (i.e. not published elsewhere) and accompanying photographs and/or videos with the appropriate copyright permission are welcome.

Content writer guidelines will be provided.

Qualifications

Proven creative writing abilities. If you have previously had ELT-related articles published, please provide a link. You may suggest potential topics you would like to write about in your cover letter.

Salary and Benefits

The posts are on a freelance basis. Payment will be £75.00 (circa. US$94.00/Euro84.00) per published (minimum 1500 word) article. Payment will be made via Paypal at end of calendar month following submission of author invoice.
